2007 Growing Season
A long cool growing season provided good conditions for our cool vineyard site. The Erratic block of the vineyard, comprised of Pommard and Wadenswill clones of Pinot Noir, was cropped down early in the season to ensure the desired ripeness and hang time. With considerable early October rains in the forecast we made the decision to wait it out give the grapes a chance to dehydrate back to their true ripeness levels before we started picking on October 13th.
Tasting Notes 2007
This newly released 2007 is a return to the classic cool climate style of Pinot Noir. Bright ruby colored, with medium body. Aromas of sweet fresh red fruits and dried cherry, mineral and a hint of earthiness. With medium tannin and forward fruit this wine is easy drinking yet stylish. Drink now.

2006 Growing Season
Thanks to a mild spring with no significant frost or rain damage, the Erratic block of the vineyard had excellent fruit set. Summer was hot, which would normally cause an early harvest; but September showers cooled down temperatures and brought sugar levels back into balance with acidity. With optimal hang time achieved in the vineyard, we started picking grapes on the 10th of October.
Tasting Notes 2006
The wine is deep ruby colored with a lovely perfume of cedar, berry and a touch of earth. On the pallet the wine displays a lush core of black fruits followed by a lengthy finish. Delicate yet concentrated, the wine shows great balance of tannin and acidity.
